Social Media/Marketing: You will assist in building the online presence of the film festival to increase submissions and ticket sales and be expected to create relevant daily social media content and post across all platforms using Hootsuite. You will present end-of-week reports regarding the increase of traffic and interaction across all platforms. You will assist or work independently on other design work for advertising and promotions under the advisement of the Art Director. SEO knowledge is also a plus.
You are an adept social media user who understands the value of daily creative content to drive viewership and interaction. You have a strong sense of design and are yourself a good graphic designer. You are tech savvy and know that whatever you don't already know you can teach yourself with the tools of the internet and will do so with ease and speed.
This is an unpaid internship with a minimum commitment of 5 hours a week. We are happy to help you submit your time for credit.
Ticket-takers and collectors: On as as-needed basis. Are you trust-worthy and good with money? We need you to man the ticket booth! Ticket-takers are responsible for selling tickets at the door and/or collecting tickets and checking VIP passes for attendees.
Ushers: On as as-needed basis. Help people to their seats, and also help our filmmakers to their special seating and to get on-stage for Q&A!
